  • Kludge workaround for Netscape (4.61 mac is all I tested) poor handling of tables. In particular - seems no way except explicit width= statement to get a TD(column) to have a sensible (other than equally spaced) witdh. As if that wasn't bad enuf, Netscape ALSO seems to ignore CSS style sheets which specify a particular width. Sigh!!!
  • Put whole web site under CVS. At first - I had badly broken things cuz cvs treated .bmp files etc as TEXT, and so munged them. Now I've fixed that (with cvswrappers). But beware of things I may have missed in the conversion, that cvs may also have screwed up!
